I have 40 minutes to teach a bunch of 4th graders the difference between right and wrong tomorrow. What should I do?

Do not underestimate the power of disney.
Show them an episode of 7th heaven

I was a super-moralf** as a kid, but that was only plastic, fake. It was not until I became a depressed dipsh*t and climbed out of that that I truly understood we were all human beings and learned true empathy. Kids mimic their heroes but they lack understanding of them - they simply blindly copy based on what society and their peers state is 'cool' or whatever.
7th heaven - wrong
breaking bad - right
lecture on the human condition
Pick a kid (a fat one), kill him. Claim the kids are all responsible and if they tell anyone they will go to jail and be raped and murdered. Problem solved.
4th graders already know the difference between right and wrong for the most part. Come up with some simple illustrations and examples for them of common moral problems for their age set. For the most part, you want to teach them that it is bad to hurt someone, especially on purpose, it is good to help people who need help, and it is good to obey authority figures (parents, teachers, police, fireman, etc). Usually it's enough to ask them how they'd feel if someone were doing something bad to them, and then pointing out that if they do something bad, someone else will feel that way
specifically talk about
-hitting people
-saying mean things to people
-stealing
-lying
lecture on the human condition
Loop the last 2 episodes of Evangelion and after each screeening ask them to pick one of them to crucify.
Nah nah bro.
Here's what you need to do:

Don't teach them what right and wrong are, teach them about the gray areas.
>it is good to obey authority figures (parents, teachers, police, fireman, etc)
yay for milgram
>it is good to obey authority figures (parents, teachers, police, fireman, etc)

children don't have the intellectual capacity or experience to direct their own lives. they need to be taught to obey, although you don't have to do much work to teach it to them. they'll naturally rebel on their own when they turn 14 or 15
Right is good for everyone. Wrong is good for yourself.
TRUST ME
Teach them taoism instead.
Use the bible.
Ayn Rand is a good place to start.
