Unless you slice your inner thigh or throat, cutting rarely works. You have to go in deep and long on your wrists. I'm talking an inch in and six inches up for you to definitely get the major veins.

When trying to kill yourself, you want arteries not veins. Veins ooze, takes a long time to bleed out. Arteries spurt very nicely and get the job done in minutes.

You have no idea how difficult and painful it is to kill yourself with a blade.

Killing yourself with ibuprofen takes quite a while.
For hours you will be coughing up blood as your intestines are eroded. Then hours, maybe days later your kidneys will give in and you will die in excruciating pain vomiting up blood.
Similar with paracetamol except it takes even longer to destroy the liver. It is the metabolites of paracetamol that cause this not the drug itself, so it can take days before you die of liver failure.
You would have to swallow an inhuman amount of 8mg codeine to kill yourself as well. You might even be the 1/10 of the population who can't metabolise it - meaning no effect.

Ibuprofen is unbelievably painful and will burn the back of your throat so everytime you breathe you'll think you're having a heart attack.

On the flip side you could buy some coffee filters, add water to about 20 of those tablets, crush, mix, filter into a cup and drink it. 8x20 = 160 mg codiene, which is then metabolized in the body to morphine, equal to 10% the dose of codiene.
TL:DR for an extra $1.29 you have drugs ( morphine ) available.
check out erowid or bluelight for instructions on CWE ( cold water extraction ) and what brands to purchase. ( paracetamol is easier to filter the ibuprofen. ibuprofen takes an hour, paracet takes 5 mins ).

It wont kill you, it will make you very ill and you'll die in 3-4 days due to liver failure.
