You're right OP, men are clearly stupider than women.
But what factors are at work here? It seems to me "aggressive tendencies" is too simplistic an explanation for why men commit so much more murder than women. Just looking at who murders whom more tells us nothing about how it is done, when and for what purpose.

Keep in mind that men show greater variance than women, meaning that women are more likely to hit the top of the bell curve while men are more likely to fall to either side.
