all of gilliam's sh*t is incoherent. but i think in brazil it works well with the juxtaposition of the confusion and urgency of the protagonist's situation compared to the retardedness of the antagonists. creates a great sense of futility and emptiness, specially at the end.
anyway repomen copies that sh*t completely. just without any humour.

watched that like 2 years ago, thought it was indie emo bullsh*t and almost turned it off after 10 minutes - but I had to keep watching because any movie in which the main character commits suicide within the first 3 minutes is worth sitting through. Ended up being really good.

the story didn't flow at all, left huge awkward pauses in between storyline segues, which went f**king nowhere. f**king don't watch that sh*tty bullsh*t movie.
guy dies, wakes up in a sh*tty boring world where all the suicides live, interesting what this movie can inspire one to do, goes to meet this girlfriend who he thinks killed herself because of him but really did it for Gob, meets lolalkie russian, hot bitch and goes to a stupid cult meeting and then they come back to life once they get a ticket back.
great story, eh? now imagine that with lacklustre, uncompelling characters and sh*t everything else.
Its called wristcutters because it's so bad.
